We live in Houston but were in Corpus for the Easter weekend and our transmission went out. Thankfully, my mother in law’s friend knew Romay’s as a reputable shop and it was close enough that we could limp over there in the car on Good Friday. Many shops don’t want to work with warranty companies, and now I know why. Freddy Romay said that they do work with warranties and was very straight with us that it would take a while because of that. We rented a car to get kids back to school for the Monday after Easter and Freddy worked his magic. It sounded like the warranty asked Freddy for basically hundreds of pages of documentation to approve and cover the work, but Freddy did it all and was even ahead of them on some of their requests. He communicated with me all the time for status updates and he was fantastic. The repair took a long time, as Freddy pointed out, but that was 100% because of working through the warranty company. If I lived in Corpus, I would never go anywhere other than here based on the great, friendly, and thorough service we received from Freddy Romay at Romay’s auto.

Stopped by today for a wheel alignment. Mica and Freddy were the service the front desk employees. This was my first time here and it will definitely not be my last. They were very friendly, polite and answered all my question. The service technician took her time to make sure my alignment was done properly. I'm definitely a future customer! They also provided me a military discount! A great way to give back to the Veterans. Thanks, again.

Rome's has been around for a long time and has a very good reputation. I was a little disappointed when I took my Hyundai Tucson in because I'm having problems with my transmission and my engine and they tell me that nothing is wrong with it after they drove it. I'm not sure if they're just covering 4 drive time where I got to vehicle a week before. Or what? But I know something's wrong with my vehicle.
